I have to say i have only been a member with CS for a few weeks now, And before i joined i so felt alone, And so scared to talk, But CS made me feel so welcome and that its ok to talk about anything, and it so amazed me to see that how i feel others in the group felt or feels the same, And i think what this group has help me even more do is to open up to my therapist with out being afraid and ashamed! Hi Folks Just been told about this website so couldn't wait to register. Waiting on e-mail to be able to go forward. Have had a difficult time recently. Was abused at college which I know about and unfortunately remember very vividly but what is worse is finding out last year and more this year that I have post traumatic stress - disassociation identity disorder - from way back. It was so scary to find that out but I have been getting ministry for it since I first got prayed for and went into a bad memory. The beginning of a scary journey for me. I am very blessed to have a wonderful patient husband and two children who most of the time help me thru this too with their distractive humour and care. Also God has put around me very special friends who have uplifted me. Some now about what I'm going thru and some I've chosen not to tell incase they don't believe me. I hope to learn a lot from other people on here and be able to be supported and to support others thru our hurts and come out stronger and more victorious in Jesus than we could ever imagine possible. Hi!
I am a believer that has been in recovery for a while now. I facilitate a small group in a ministry called Celebrate Recovery which is a biblically based 12 step program for all issues. The group is the sexual/emotional/physical abuse group. This ministry is lay-led by those who have walked the issue they now lead.
I think it is wonder that our Christian community is starting to recognize that like Paul who had a "thorn in the flesh" asked it to be removed and wasn't, that Christians suffer too. Wearing the mask denies reality and the very support of community Jesus wanted us to have to help one another.
Thank you for the very type of support we all need to get the ongoing healing for our struggles with sexual abuse and it's effects. I have issues of PTSD, social/agoraphob ic tendencies and most effects of sexual abuse. Jesus has given me much healing and my life has changed since He has entered my life. I now want to serve and help others with His comfort given me. 2 Cor. 1:3,4

CS is a wonderful website.It has awesome moderators and exceptional Christian (and perhaps some yet to be Christian) men and women who are seeking healing for past pain and suffering and who are desiring to live life to the fullest and not in the past or pain. I HIGHLY recommend this site! Thank you so much for providing this service. I just wanted to say that I am happy that I have finally been able to get into this website. I have am thankful for that. Most of the time, feel so alone. At least, as far as i know i do. I would rather talk to others at a christian website than one that is very secular. I love the pictures on some of the posts here and the picture on the home page here too. I am a survivor of sexual abuse obviously. I have PTSD too. I have Major Depressive Disorder too. I have ADD too. I just got on disability too, and am still waiting on my backpay. Anyways, hope to make new friends here. So, am happy to be here.

This Place has been a wonderful support for me since coming a couple of yrs ago... I have gone through so much- & everyone here has been totally amazing... Loving, caring, understanding... I have grown so much these past 2 yrs, and I know CS has been a huge part of that... Not to mention the overtime the staff works to keep it a safe place for everyone... Love it...

I've been a member over a year now and I can honestly say the members here are so very encouraging,understanding and validating...The  staff are so helpful and allways have new resources, teaching classes, groups, and very well moderated and they even interact with us, which is very important to me....They genuinely care for us and keep us very safe...
